An original 1971 1st press of THE YES ALBUM on US Atlantic. Etching AT/DK. Please note the labels exhibit the "1841 Broadway" address and are textured as you'd find on the 1st issues. We also have a genuine '71 pasted heavy-card gatefold. There's also the original generic white inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. A few very marks - nothing remotely troublesome. PLEASE NOTE - there's some light edge wear measured at maximum of 1MM amplitude [only observable on side 1]. I'm pleased to report that it appears to have pretty much zero effect on the audio. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with just minor deviation in the odd brief spot. By and large a lovely clean player - which is kind of totally necessary when it comes to YES. Not perfect by any means - but a very accomplished rendition and more than capable of doing this YES classic maximum justice. A bit of light static might just be noticeable in a couple of isolated moments per side [e.g. Perpetual Change]. But overall a really classy performer.
Cover (Vg+) Will usually surface looking a bit ropey - but this example is very tidy. Surfaces look pretty clean with only light handling. No creasing and the rigidity is superb thanks to very heavy card employed in manufacture. The interior looks excellent with little issue. There's edge wear, but it's faring better than many copies. The spine looks very smart with all text fully legible.
Inner (Vg+) Aged, but no splits.
