THE VINYL IS STILL CURRENTLY STILL HELD TOGETHER BY ITSELF. I WILL PACK THIS ITEM AS BEST AS POSSIBLE BUT CANNOT 100% GUARANTEE IT WILL REMAIN INTACT WHEN IT RECEIVED. THIS COULD BE STUCK BACK TOGETHER AGAIN AS IT'S QUITE CLEAR THIS IS ONLY GOING TO BE USED AS A DISPLAY COPY I AM NOT ACCEPTING RETURNS ON THIS ITEM SO ENSURE YOU ARE FULLY AWARE OF THE CONDITION***
TITLE: PLEASE PLEASE ME ARTIST: THE BEATLES CATALOGUE: PARLOPHONE PMC 1202
ORIGINAL UK 1963 1st PRESS PARLOPHONE BLACK & GOLD MONO VINYL IN A CRACKED DAMAGED CONDITION. COMPLETE WITH XEX 421-1N GO (3 O'CLOCK) 2 (9 O'OCLOCK) / XEX 422-1N H (9 O'CLOCK) MATRIX ETCHINGS, 'MT' TAX CODE ON THE INNER SPINDLE OF SIDE 2, DICK JAMES MUS. CO PUBLISHING CREDITS ON BOTH LABELS AND ORIGINAL 1st PRESS ERNEST J. DAY COVER SHOWS THE ANGUS McBEAN CREDIT IN THE FAR RIGHT BOTTOM CORNER IN GOOD / VERY GOOD CONDITION. AN ORIGINAL EMITEX INNER SLEEVE IS ALSO INCLUDED BUT SOMEONE HAS WRITTEN A 1965 DATE ON (I BELIEVE THIS TO BE THE RELEASE DATE FOR HELP! SO THAT MAY EXPLAIN THE WRITING)
VINYL: DAMAGED - THERE ARE THREE SIGNIFICANT CRACKS TO THE VINYL WHICH DEEM THE VINYL UNPLAYABLE. THE CRACKS RUN ACROSS AT AROUND 1PM WHEN LOOKING AT THE VINYL FROM SIDE 1 AND COVER THE LENGTH OF THE OUTER PERIMETER TO THE CENTRE. THE RECORD CURRENTLY IS STILL INTACT BUT THIS COULD BREAK IN TRANSIT - I SHALL PACK EXTREMELY CAREFULLY THOUGH TO HOPEFULLY ENSURE THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN BUT OBVIOUSLY I CANNOT GUARANTEE. A REAL SHAME AS THERE IS NO SPINDLE WEAR AT ALL AND THE VINYL ITSELF HAS A LOVELY CLEAN SHINE WITH NO SURFACE WEAR OR SCRATCHES.
COVER: GOOD / VERY GOOD – ORIGINAL 1st PUBLISHED ERNEST J. DAY FRONT LAMINATED / FLIP BACK PRINTED COVER, THE FRONT COLOURS STILL LOOK VERY CLEAR AND VIBRANT WITH A LITTLE LIGHT STAINING IN THE BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER, THERE IS A SLIGHT TEAR IN THE TOP RIGHT CORNER ABOVE THE MONO TEXT WHICH RUNS THROUGH THE CARD, SPINE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION AND CLEARLY READABLE, THE REAR FLAPS HAVE A LITTLE AGEING BUT NOTHING DETRIMENTAL IN ANY WAY, THE REAR MATT CARDED AREA IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION TOO WITH MINIMAL AGEING WEAR VISIBLE, A COVER THAT WERE IT NOT FOR THE LIGHT STAINING AND TEAR ALONG THE TOP RIGHT CORNER WOULD BE GRADED AS VERY GOOD BUT STILL LOOKS IN A PRESENTABLE CONDITION
