An original 1st press of TRINITY on the UK Cooking Vinyl label. Matrix A1/B2. A highly acclaimed album recorded live in Toronto. Audio fidelity is highly sought after on this release. What I like about the original UK release is that it's pressed by MPO in France [a great pressing plant]. And, unlike a lot of the other vinyl in this period, someone has specifically instructed them to press heavy! The vinyl comes housed in the original cover with an original generic white inner. So we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of lightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with two deviations. A beautiful player and you're really going to need this on this mega fussy live recording. A lot of it is very low-key...if you've got any background it's quickly going to get irritating for the listener. I'm pleased to report this copy plays pretty clean - consistently. It's not perfect - you will witness the odd isolated crackle occasionally - but it is very clean signalled. And this means you really get to feed into that presence and ambience which they are so adept at delivering. Love it! All I could detect was a couple of clicks midway through side 1. And a few isolated crackles occasionally during DREAMING [ a particularly fussy number]. Other than that expect a stellar rendition.
Cover (Ex) In lovely condition with a clean and flat front and rear. Barely a crease front and rear. Edge wear is very minor and the openings are still sharp. The spine is practically totally intact - all text fully legible. The cover still retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) Unaged. No rips.
