Slayer Show No Mercy Vinyl Very First Pressing USA MBR1013 1983 Excellent Condition.

This is the very very first USA pressing of Slayer’s “Show No Mercy” and it has all the etchings to prove it in the run outs.

On side A it says: S-11348 MBR-1013-E-1034-A “SATAN LAUGHS AS YOU ETERNALLY ROT” KPG/MCA

Side B says: S-11349 MBR-1013-B-E-1034-B “SLAYER” KPG/MCA

It is hard to photograph the etchings but in the photo you can see some and the telling etching which is the part about satan.

Record itself is in pristine Near Mint (NM) condition: no scratches.

Sleeve is a little worn at edges with slight ring wear but no rips or pencil markings so it’s Very Good (VG).

Insert is in Excellent (EX) condition

Check Discogs for authenticity markings and you’ll see this meets all the criteria. There other people selling what they say are the first pressing on eBay but they are pressings from other countries and not the very first from the United States. This is the real one. The cheapest one on Discogs is asking for at least $300 in worse condition. If you’re a collector of rare vinyl and just have to have the absolute first edition, this is the record for you.
