One of their most highly rated albums...Some of the 1st copies were pressed on clear vinyl - this is the standard black vinyl 1st press. Matrix A1/B1. There's no doubting that this is one cool looking album from an artistic point of view. Custom labels and a beautiful white cover printed by ROBOR. It looks smart - but boy are the white covers from the 70's a nightmare to sustain! We also have the original generic inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In beautiful condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we're struggling to make out a mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation. Nice quiet inbetweens and intros and great signal purity [you'll definitely need that for this ambient release]. Steam train anyone? The audio quality - by and large is absolutely top-draw. The only vague issue I could pick out was in that side 1 intro. It's super low-key... you can tell just by looking at the grooves in that section. I'm picking up the odd static crackle here and there in this section. Nothing invasive - but don't expect the LP to play perfectly clean in this section. But do bear in mind - hardly any record will do unless it is still sealed from 1979! Overall a beautiful player you'd struggle to equal, let alone better.
Cover (Ex-) And it shouldn't take a genius to work out - this title is going to be a nightmare to find even in above average condition. In fact, this specimen is looking way better than most other examples out there from the original release. There is just the faintest evidence of ageing at the extremities - but the front still looks nice and white and there's no spoiling of the aesthetic. Edge wear is very limited for this title and the openings still sharp. The spine is 100% intact with just lightest ageing just apparent. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
