An original 1st issue of ANATO on UK Emi from 1975. Matrix 4/4 [you can go earlier than this]. Etching 'Blairs'. Not the very earliest copy you can get your hands on - but would have been available in the shops whilst 1st charting. The vinyl comes housed in an original embossed gatefold. The left hand panel is glued shut and forms a nice solid front panel. We also have the original die-cut inner sleeve. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In beautiful condition and has only seen very light use. Check out those label shots! Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of very light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback with only one very slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are super quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Great power and authority - with lots of low-level detail.....all the right ingredients for this title. If you are super fussy on the audio side - looking for the best possible copy.. >then this copy is certainly well worth a serious look at. The multi-tracking of Freddie's vocal in 'Prophets' - plays with superb clarity. Bohemian Rap - the intro plays really clean...to maximum effect! I can imagine even some nice copies out there will exhibit a bit of light background even after only moderate use of those grooves. This is by far the best copy I've ever witnessed. It plays amazingly clean into all areas. I could only make out one very slight tick during BOHIAN RAP. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex) Pretty much perfectly white and hasn't been affected by ageing at all [this is incredibly unusual over this passage of time]. There's just a couple of small minor blemishes and one tiny indentation [top right front] stopping it gaining a full Ex+. Edge wear is practically non-existent and the openings still sharp. The spine is 100% intact without any wear or ageing [not sure I've ever seen that]. The interior continues the 'perfect' theme. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. I don't imagine any one will be finding a better example any time soon.
Inner (Ex) Very little signs of wear. No splits [important!]. Really superb. Minimal creasing. If I was being super critical I'd mention just a couple of very minor stress creases at the foot. Difficult to find without splits¬!
