Vinyl Grading Guide

The vinyl is graded with the standard UK Record Collector Magazine grading system.

All items listed are UK release, standard black vinyl unless otherwise stated.

Covers and packaging are graded first, then the disc(s)... for example:

Ex- / Vg+ - (Cover / Disc)

MINT (M)
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. I personally use MINT- as my highest grade for OPENED records.

EXCELLENT (EX)
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packag­ing might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VGC)
The record has obviously been played many times, and may have slight deterioration in sound quality, noticeable sur­face marks and the occasional light scratch. Sleeve will have wear and tear, as expected for it's age.

GOOD (GD)
The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and scratches. The cover and contents suffer from significant folding, scuffing of edges, discoloration, etc.

Fine Tuning...

These grades are sometimes fine-tuned with a plus (+) or minus (-).

Records are graded record then sleeve to the UK Record Collector guidelines, NOT the US Goldmine ones.
I aim to describe items as honestly as possible, using as many photos as possible.
In the event you are unhappy with an item, simply return for a full refund including return postage.
ALL records are sent in cruciform box mailers, NOT flimsy envelope types.
I make NO profit from postage. A box mailer alone is 30p, add on tape labels etc + ebay and Paypal fees and I actually make a small loss.
