An original 1st press of COSMO's on UK Liberty. Matrix A1/B1. Stampers 1-OO/1-MG [1st Mother]. Absolutely correct label for 1970. In fact, the earliest copies exhibit 'Product Of California' - at the top of the label. The vinyl is still quite chunky and comes housed in an original cover. Please note the cover would have been printed a couple of years after 1st release [when re-releaed on Fantasy]. On the upside - these covers were fully laminated back and front [unlike 1st issues]. We also have the original generic white inner with correct patent information. 
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) Very well preserved and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a few very light marks per side - nothing heavy or troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with minor deviation in a couple of spots. The audio has depth, excellent dynamics, and bags of detail. It's playing clean into nearly all areas. I picked out a few crackles in one spot per side - nothing distracting. The whole Lp is a total joy to play. A band at the height of their powers!
Cover (Ex-) In nice condition and the lamination has helped protect both sides. The front is shiny flat with a couple of minor creases and a touch of laminate lift against the spine [ditto the rear]. There's some lightest edge wear. The spine is fully intact but for a small bump at the base. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity,
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits.
