An original 1st press from 1973 - and even better.. the white label promo copy. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an gatefold cover which is in remarkable condition - barring the deletion cut {deletion cuts occurred as titles were exiting the charts}. Also included is the original Burbank inner sleeve - date coded 1972!. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are really quiet and the audio comes across with super clarity. A very clean player throughout. Even into those quieter moments. All I could make out was a few crackles in one isolated spot per side. Overall a splendid player - highly recommended!
Cover (Ex/Ex+) Wowzer - I've just taken this cover straight out of the shrink! Ha - this is a serious time-capsule copy. First thing to note is that the colour retention - perfect! Seriously - how many copies are going to look like this? The shrink wrap means - there is no surface wear at all...highly unusual. PLEASE remember that there is a deletion cut. There's no edge wear at all. Openings are lovely and firm. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity in part thanks to the heavy card employed in manufacture. You couldn't better it!
Inner(Vg) Light ageing. Bottom edge taped up. A couple of small splits.
