Records have not been played. Privately recorded at Eroica Recording Services of Eccles, Manchester. No indication of programme. Dated 1951; LPs coming in at that time but 78's still very common. Guessing that these are 78's since the grooves are not minute; disks are heavy but early vynil discs often were too.
One disc label has "Harrogate College Choir, 1951" with a signature immediately below it: Valleria A. Baber??? The other has "Harrogate College Choir" with G. Stevenson below it. Other signatures are: Susan M. [faded]; C.H. Warburton; E.Tytler; Astrid G.C. Watson; Gabi Williams; Marcia [North?]; R.Archer; C. Lamont; E. Constantine; M. Holt; A.Turner; J. Sawkill [or similar]; J.Mawdsley; J.Foles; J. or T. Fenwick; G. or C. Holden; S.R.Jackson; R. Chislett; P. Remanary [?]; G.Kenmir; D. Palling; A.Crawford; E.France; M.Fing. Some of these are guesses. A few are too indistinct or faded to read at all.
No sleeves. Discs are in pretty good condition. Some rubbing on all, just a couple of visible but shallow scratches.
