New R.E.M vinyl box released in the USA only in December 2014, the set gathers the band’s singles released between 1983 and 1988 when they were signed to their first label, I.R.S. Records.
7IN – 83-88 contains 11 seven-inch singles with two 45s making their U.S. vinyl seven-inch debuts: Finest Worksong (b/w Time After Time (live)) and the double-pack single for Wendell Gee (which includes Crazy, Ages of You and Burning Down).
All the singles feature sleeve art that replicates the originals and 7IN – 83-88 , was released on 8 December 2014.
