An original Xmas 1969 copy on the new Boxed Decca label. Matrix 1A/2A. Note the format {mono} mentioned above the spindle hole. Vinyl pressed in this period is noticeably heavier than that was pressed just a couple of years later. The vinyl comes housed in an original pinched spine cover. Interestingly these '69 copies can be found with the original 'Blind Man' text. Now don't go mistaking this for a 1965 copy. This is 4 years later and Decca, after the dust had settled on the controversy, started re-using the original text that got censored in 1965. Quite a nice addition to find on this late 60's copy. We will house the LP in an original blue and white inner from the time. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In marvellous condition and has clearly only seen light careful use. Under close inspection nothing more than a couple of light mark per side. One of the small marks is semi-feelable and does sound - see the detail below. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with one noticeable deviation. This copy does not disappoint and is delivering some very fine audio indeed. Those quiet atmospheric moments and lowkey percussive elements are delivered really clean. We did pick up one issue in the later stages of 'Down the Road'. A small mark which causes a few ticks and a couple of louder clicks. A real shame as the copy is near perfect barring that. If you can live that one issue the rest of the Lp is knock-out.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) That front is nothing short of amazing. Literally perfect. It has perfect sheen and there are zero creases - not even an impression! Literally perfect. The rear has totally avoided the ageing process. One wishes all covers could like this - but this specimen is most certainly a time-traveller. There's no edge wear observable and the openings perfectly sharp. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. 
Inner (Ex-) Light ageing. Bag present. No splits.
