ETTA JAMES RARE ARGO MONO BLUES/FUNK/SOUL/LP=AT LAST

 A turquoise label with blue lettering original Argo label copy of this album. It has a very high reputation as amongst the best, if not the very best funk/soul/ blues album ever recorded. Condition wise, the vinyl is EX/EX-and plays cleanly. The labels are EX. The front cover has a small nick out of the middle lip area (see scan), I put some non perishable tape years ago inside the top and bottom edges so that the splits there didn’t spread. The corners are a little rounded. There’s also a record library sticker attached. The back cover has a couple of small tears at the lip and general foxing. The photo is incorporated into the general description. Maybe the grading is  VG-ish. Make no mistake- this is a rare heavyweight giant.  It presents more than reasonably well and it’s deep groove sound will please.

CONDITION WISE:

MINT: Sealed. Unplayed.  

MINT MINUS (NM) : Few signs of being played, no deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras in superb condition.                                                                

EXCELLENT: Some signs of having been played, eg. superficial minor marks such as feathers. Possible minor deterioration of sound quality. Cover, label, extras are in fine condition.                                                                             

VERY GOOD: Played quite a few times. Perhaps feel-able marks. Some deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras show moderate amount of wear and tear.       

VERY GOOD - (Minus) : Further deterioration in sound quality. Considerable wear and tear to cover and it's contents but record should play without skipping, repeats etc.                                              

GOOD: Just playable. Considerable sound problems. Heavy scratches. Needle may jump. Cover has serious problems eg defaced, staining,missing pieces etc.
