An original 1st UK press of MM on UK Elektra. Matrix A1/B2. Etching "Allen". Please note the labels mention 'Made in UK' as you would expect to find on the 1st press. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover which mentions "Marquee Moon" on the front. You will note later copies drop the inverted commas. The cover is printed by Shorewood and the text on the rear is all in white. We have an original bespoke inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a few very superficial mark per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playbacks. Intros and inbetweens are superbly quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. I don't recall ever witnessing a cleaner and more impressive copy. This copy is delivering some truly superb audio. Can't fault it. Intricate and precise. Absolutely love it. I can't really imagine going any better to be frank.
Cover (Vg+) In great shape and the aesthetic on the front and rear is preserved superbly. Lovely clean front without surface wear or creasing. Ditto the rear. A bit of light edge wear in places which has been carefully inked in. Overall a very smart looking cover. The spine is in great order the text is 90% legible with precious little wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) No splits. A couple of creases.
