Wieder ein Zweitwerk, das auf ein erfolgreiches Debut folgt und erst mal mit den hohen Erwartungen kämpfen muss. Zunächst scheint es so, als wollten Maximo Park durch höheres Tempo dem Fan erst gar keine Zeit lassen, über irgendwelche Vergleiche nachzudenken. Die Gitarren und die Drums peitschen den Rhythmus voran, der Gesang bleibt trotz rassanter Akkorde leicht verständlich, die Arrangements klar strukturiert. Die Melodien wirken erstaunlich eingängig und setzen sich spätestens nach dem zweiten Hördurchgang im Ohr fest. Our Earthly Pleasures wirkt euphorisch, mit krachenden Pophymnen, bietet auch mal etwas ruhigere Nummern und manche an die 80er Jahre erinnernde Keyboard- /Orgelpassage. Alles in allem ein gelungener Nachfolger des in höchsten Tönen gelobte A Certain Trigger-Albums. Mit Textbeiblatt...............................................

It is a completely original FIRST-Pressing in ENGLAND. This analoge LP/RECORD is long out of print and is an extremely rare title.  This is one of the rarest titles to find, especially perfect " FACTORY SEALED".
