An original 1st issue of LIB on UK Apple from when the album was still charting. Matrix 2/3 [not the earliest - you can get 2's]. Please note On side 1 label the '1' of track one can be found directly below the I&D of 'Side 1'. It sounds crazy - but this is precisely the design layout of the earliest 1st copies. Well worth going for the early copies as they were pressed heavier and the audio preproduction is superb. The vinyl comes housed in an early cover with green Apple logo and pinched spine. We have an original 'plastic bag warning' inner sleeve dated from 1970 to house it in. Not original to the release - but original to the period [bang on].
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In fantastic condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of lightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. In my experience LIB is an incredibly fussy record - one of the fussiest by the Beatles.  'Let It Be' and 'Winding Road' are hard to find playing clean even on good looking copies. But this copy is delivering a near perfectly clean rendition on these two. Expect nothing more than a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots per side. Very highly recommended.
Cover (Ex) In great order and that aesthetic on the front is beautifully preserved without fading. Very flat front with just a couple of thumbnail creases toward the opening. The rear is practically perfect. There's no edge wear to speak of and the openings are still firm. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. Impressive.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. bag is present. No splits.
