THE BEATLES LOT OF 2 ORIGINAL VINYL LPs! These are the first 2 Beatles LPs released in the US: “Introducing…The Beatles” (released on January 10, 1964, on Vee-Jay Records) and “Meet The Beatles” (released on January 20, 1964, on Capitol Records). These LPs were released just 10 days apart on two different record labels, ushering in the British Invasion. “Meet The Beatles” peaked at No. 1 on the album charts for 11 consecutive weeks, with “Introducing…The Beatles” peaking at No. 2 for nine consecutive weeks. It is one of the few times in history that the same band occupied the top two spots on the LP charts.
I am a vinyl LP collector who sells very little of my collection but am running out of room to store it all. I have been collecting for years and know how to grade LPs accurately. "Introducing…The Beatles": LP VG; Cover G+. LP plays with some background noise, has some mars/scratches. No skips when I played. Classic rare black label. Cover has ringwear, scuffs/mars on front and back, some spinewear, G+ to VG. No writing on cover. Generic plastic inner sleeve. Matrix side A: 63-3402; side B: 63-3403. Label VJLP-1062.
"Meet The Beatles": LP G+; Cover VG. LP has many visible surface scratches/mars, plays with lots of background noise, some pops, no skips with I played. Side A is a strong G+, side B is a weak G+. Cover has cornerwear, slight spinewear, other wear. No writing on cover. Generic inner sleeve has split at bottom. Matrix side A: T-1-2047-G-14-1; side B: T-2-2047-F-11-1. Label T-2047.
