RCA RD 97-A Stereo 6-record boxed set "The Artistry of Artur Rubinstein". Justly praised Readers Digest set compiled by RCA of mostly Living Stereo era masters. All discs are 1s/1s stampers, Indianapolis pressings. Concertos and solo works played by Rubenstein ; concertos conducted by the likes of Reiner, Wallenstein, Guilini, Chicago Symphony etc. surfaces are bright and clean, Box is protected by original shrink, sleeves and booklet are like new.
A note about grading of used records:
MINT: Rare indeed and a category I never use. If a record is not sealed, even if it is "like new" or I know it has only been played once it will be graded in the next category (NM)
NM; If "like new" I will state so. Might have a minimum of barely audible noise. No repeating tics or frequent surface noise.
EX; Generally mostly NM with a bit more evidence of age.
VG+; Obviously used but mostly evident in quiet passages but still mostly quiet or unobtrusive'
I spot-play the records on a high resolution system, concentrating on high excursion, quiet or suspect sections.
