Up for sale is Closet Sale by Maxine Feldman for Galaxia Records.
Maxine "Max" Adele Feldman was an American folk singer-songwriter, comedian and pioneer of women's music. Feldman's song "Angry Atthis," first performed in May 1969 and first recorded in 1972, is considered the first openly distributed out lesbian song of what would become the women's music movement.
The jacket of this album shows some wear, including rounded corners, and some creasing along the spine. The lower edge of the jacket has come unglued from the rear panel, but is not technically damaged and could very easily be re-secured should the new owner wish that. The vinyl itself, while dusty, is in excellent condition and looks to have been played only a handful of times.
Notably, this album contains a personal note in the upper left corner of the rear of the jacket, making it a piece of LGBTQIA history, or so I believe.
It reads, "Beth, Thanks for signing & signing (try harder*) Love in lesbian pride Maxine" *[hard to make out what exactly is written after try...]
