================================================================
The stereo separation on this disc enhances the listening experience, notably on the orchestral side two, as this is how it was intended to be heard. By '69, stereo had become the dominant format in vinyl record sales.
This Beatles album was the first to be mixed and recorded exclusively in stereo format, just like Abbey Road  and Let It Be. However, not wanting to miss-out on potential sales, E.M.I. did release some mono copies  which were created from a mixdown of the stereo master. No mono master recordings were ever prepared.         ================================================================

AUDIO - EX+ / NEAR MINT
Almost impossible to find the 'gentle' side 2 without any audible faults, including the inevitable 'dust pops'. On this copy though, the whole of side 2 plays perfectly, with crystal clear sound and silent run-ins. The audio on both sides is as near to perfection as you could reasonably expect from an original vinyl record.
VISUALLY - EX+
In keeping with the wonderful sound from this copy, the vinyl surfaces are in fantastic condition. Deep gloss lustre, which is as good as it appears in the photos above. Even against reflected daylight, I can only see the lightest of lines, which are inevitable on any vinyl disc that has been handled. There are a just moderate number of light spindle trails, suggesting minimal play.
The side 1 label carries a genuine 'Factory Sample' sticker and all text is still vibrant and undamaged.

THE COVER - VG
A solid example which omits the printers credits on the bottom flipback, in keeping with a genuine first issue. The white areas on the front and back panels have remained very white. There are perimeter wrinkles and thumb bends but no diagonal corner stress lines commonly found on L.P. covers. The unprotected back panel is in great condition, with just a small 'rubbed' area in the top left, possibly from a sticker removal, but it is not too noticeable. The pinched ends spine is perfect.

THE INNER SLEEVE - EX+
A truly remarkable example of this ridiculously fragile item. It is as close to being perfect, as you could reasonably expect. The single die-cut hole is undamaged, the seams are all intact and it hasn't suffered from the usual heavy creasing found on most.   ======================================================================

The photos are of the actual item. I always use professional, anti-static, cleaning fluid and listen to the whole disc. Professional mailers are always used.

I will be listing more Beatles records, so please have a look
