An original 1st press of AR on the UK Apple label from 1969. Matrix 2/1 [1st cut]. Please note that the labels DO NOT mention 'Her Majesty' next to the track 'The End' - this is the main indicator of VERY 1st press. Well worth seeking out these early copies they sound fab and were pressed that bit heavier too. The vinyl comes house in an original thin spine cover with laminated waxy surfaces. We will ship in a replica black inner for maximum protection. Minor print error on side 2 label. Barely worth mentioning...but I will point it out all the same. One of the Lennon-McCartney credits is missing the hyphen.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) A lightly used copy which is in great condition given the vintage and relative popularity of this title. Under close inspection there are a couple of slight markings per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. The audio on these early copies is legendary and it is very much evident on this example too. Highly addictive! The question with AR is can you find a copy that has seen sufficiently light use that those lowkey super fussy sections play clean. And I'm pleased to report that this is one of the best examples I've witnessed. It is closing in on perfect - and that is no mean feat on this very fussy title. Side 2 in particular is very fussy in parts - long lowkey passages which will trip up the majority of copies. Side 1&2 play impeccably - hardly any original copies will play to this standard - consistently. The Bird Song at the start of  'Sun King' is unusually clean. All I can detect throughout the entire LP is a couple of isolated minor ticks in 'Because'. Overall I'd argue this is one of the consistently cleanest players I've ever witnessed. Top draw - and would be extremely difficult to match, let alone better. This copy will smoke 95% of decent copies out there...Highly recommended. 
Cover (Ex) Has been very carefully looked after and the front and back are looking super tidy. Excellent colour retention - the aesthetic is preserved pretty much perfectly. Just a couple of minor thumbnails front and back and some super light handing. Worth mentioning the cover lies really nice and flat. Hardly any signs of edge wear and sharp firm openings. The spine is 99.5% intact - impressive. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A very impressive original example.
