VARIOUS The House That Track Built (1969 UK 13-track stereo LP Track label sampler, fully laminated gatefold picture sleeve. Not only does this contain two exclusive mixes by The Who - a true stereo mix of 'A Quick One While He's Away' & a studio version of 'Young Man Blues' - but also the first Fairport Convention single 'If I Had A Ribbon Bow', two each by Jimi Hendrix & Arthur Brown, along with tracks by Thunderclap Newman, John's Children with Marc Bolan, an early George Clinton/ Parliament tune & more. The cover was designed by David King who did the superb Electric Ladyland & Axis: Bold As Love album jackets.
Matrix A1/B1. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original fully laminated cover. One of the coolest looking covers out there. We also have the original plastic bag warning inner sleeve date coded to Jan 1970. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In super shape and has only seen light careful use. I am detecting slight edge wobble measured at max amplitude of 0.5MM. Fully tested - this is causing zero affect. One very slight superficial trail mark - nothing remotely troublesome. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Worth noting that by '72 track pressings started going downhill. But stick to the early solid stuff and you can be quite surprised at just how much audio they can kick out. A clean player throughout. Even the acoustic tracks play superb and clean. Nothing worse than a few crackles in one isolated spot per side. An absolute cracker. The Who mixes are worth the money alone! Highly recommended.
Cover (Vg+) Please be aware - when they printed the cover the rollers have folded it slightly out of synch [about 6mm out]. Front and rear are looking real sweet - flat and colourful. Leftover sticker residue to the left of Brown's head on the rear. Please note there's a bit of tape residue down the spine  - which is in otherwise great condition. The interior looks super - couple of minor thumbnails. Slightest edge wear. Shap firm openings. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing in parts. Bag present. No splits.
