An original 1st Mono press on UK Parlophone.  Matrix 2/2 - 1st cut. Please note this is a true and genuine 1st press. The labels still mention the abbreviated 'Lark Mus.' publishing credit for 'Act Naturally'. It also exhibits a space between the end of 'I Need You' and the asterisk [it sound crazy - but that's the proof!]. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original G&L mono cover. We also have the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-/Vg+) In mostly great shape and has seen light to moderate use. Expect a few light marks per side and one small semi-feelable mark per side [which will sound see detail]. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NEAREXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of deviations. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Very nice clean player by and large - but not exclusively. Yesterday plays relatively clean and above average. But I did detect 4-5 ticks right back in the closing moments. Most tracks including the fussy ones play pretty clean. I detected a couple of isolated ticks in 'Need You'. The only noticeable issue is a small mark in 'TMWYS'. I'm getting 7-8 ticks midway through the track. Thankfully, it is relatively well hidden amongst the audio so not a deal breaker. Overall a still very accomplished and genuine mono 1st.
Cover (Ex-) A beautifully white front which preserves the original aesthetic very well indeed [they don't all look like this!]. The front is flat and shiny with just a couple of thumbnails and one minor crease. The rear has avoided much of the usual ageing process - just some light evidence over toward the opening. Flipbacks are all intact and secure. Hardly any edge wear and firm openings. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Emitex (Vg+) A bit creased. No splits. Bag present.
