Description
This is a nice 7" 78 rpm (ish) Shellac record titled, "E. Berliner / Gramophone / Patented May 3, 1887 / May 15, 1888 - May 6 189? / Feb'y 19, 1895 - Oct. 29 , 1895 / Other Patents Applied For / ". This is one of 26 Berliner's I will be listing and will give a general description as well as one on each record. "This one plays good, a hair off speed". The Berliner records that I have listened to which is all I have in my possession tend not to be exactly on 78 rpm, most appear to run a little off speed, but I do not have an adjustible speed turntable, there are no skips or jumps in any I am listing, but sound quality is what I assume to be typical of that era, all are in good condition.
