Queen / Paul McCartney
EMI 522 / 1989 / Argentina / Promotional

Who knows what the employees of the vinyl factory were thinking when they made these split 45s.
But as a result, they made the two most unusual, unique and rare Queen / McCartney records from
Argentina, which had severe mistakes in the manufacturing process.

"I Want It All" was Queen's last 45 released in the country (extremely rare to find) and the song was
(supposedly) included as the A-side to McCartney's "My Brave Face" on one of these 45s (the one
with the handwritten X on the A-side label).

However, it actually contains Queen's "The Miracle" on the A-side (where "I Want It All" should be).
A totally uncredited song, which unfortunately, we cannot know if the company really intended to
include it in a 45 or not. The B-side (McCartney) is correct.

The other 45 (the one with the ink stamps to better identify it) is credited with McCartney's "My Brave
Face" on the A-side, but it's actually Queen's "The Miracle", and "I Want It All" on the B-side (which
is correct). This 45 then has two Queen songs.

To make it clear:

45 - (1)

A-side: I Want It All - Queen (it contains "The Miracle")
B-side: My Brave Face - Paul McCartney (it is correct)

45 - (2)

A-side: My Brave Face - Paul McCartney (it contains "The Miracle")
B-side: I Want It All - Queen (it is correct)

It is important to note that both records have identical catalog number (EMI #522). That is, it is
supposedly the same 45, or at least, it should have been.

A few copies of version "2" have been reported over the years. But this is the first time I have come
across a copy of the completely unknown version "1". We have no way of knowing how many copies
left the factory with these terrible mistakes, but surely not too many survived out there.

This is a rare chance to purchase two crazy Queen rarities from the same seller in a single transaction!

Record:

(1)

A-side: Strong EX near to M-
B-side: VG+(+) to EX (There is one non-feelable light surface
mark)

There is one X on the A-side.

(2)

A-side: VG+ (It has some light scuff marks)
B-side: VG+(+)

There is one faint ink stamp on both labels, and two small
writings on the A-side, hardly noticeable.

Sleeve: N/A, they come housed in their original company sleeves.
