Mint (M) = Record is Sealed in manufacturers packaging?Usually dealers stock.
Near Mint (NM or NM-) = Record has original shine. May have light hairline or scratch. But sound quality is unaffected.
Excellent (EX) = Record has original shine. May have light scratches, hairlines, rubs and surface noise. Sound quality is very good.
Very Good Plus (VG+) = Record has original shine, has light scratches, needle runs and surface noise. May have pops and ticks at quiet passages and between tracks. Sound quality is good. Record is collectable.
Very Good (VG) = Average playable record. It may have grayness in the grooves. Has scratches, rubs and runs. Will have surface noise, pops and ticks, but still collectable.
Good Plus (G+) = Record has heavy scratches, faults and rubs?Has been played often. Record has noticeable surface noise, but will play through without skipping.
Good (G) = Not really good. Record has Major faults. The noise can exceed the music?has very heavy pops and crackles. Sold ?AS-IS?

Good Plus (G+) = Heavy record ring or large splits, heavily marked, faded or taped, heavy or large writing.
