Johnny Cash- At Folsom Prison 1968 1st Edition Stereo CS 9639 VG+ Vinyl.
This is a first edition copy of this record. Classic bad ass country recorded at Folsom Prison. It has a 6 on the bottom right corner of back cover and the double eyes on the record stickers. That with the Vinyl Matrix Runouts, XSM136060 and XSM136061, indicate this is a true first edition according to my research.
Vinyl itself is in Very Good Plus condition. It’s an old record from the 60s so it has like 3 noticeable shallow scratches but it won’t skip and still sounds great. There may be some crackling here and there but that’s the warmth of old vinyl and other than that it’s in great shape for it’s age.
Sleeve is also in Very Good condition. It has edge, corner, and ring wear to where the top edge split open about an inch where the record touches at the middle of the top but it’s all holding together. Again, super old record but a pretty decent copy. Inner paper sleeve for record is even the original one.
