An original 1st press of Zep III on UK Atlantic. Matrix A7/B7. Please note labels still mention 'Peter Grant' - this occurs on the earliest labels before Jimmy asked for its removal. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original Deluxe E J day heavy-card cover. Please note the spinning wheel is fully operational. We also have an original inner sleeve too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Vg+/Vg) In nice condition despite a moderate level of use. Under close inspection expect a few light marks both sides. One or two are getting semi-feelable and will sound [see detail]. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals playback varying between VERYGOOD & VERYGOOD+ level of playback with a couple of deviations per side. When on song this copy is playing very well indeed [but not exclusively]. Ok so what are the issues...In 'Gallows' we have a couple of ticks in a couple of spots - and a couple of clicks. 'That's The Way' - two pops early in the track [prior to the vocal coping in] and a few minor ticks later on. Friends starts with a few crackles and a few ticks in that intro - it does seem to clean up a bit though. SIBLY plays relatively well - with a few crackles in places and a couple of ticks [mostly later in the track]. The only track I found a bit of distortion creeping in was during 'Out On The Tiles'. Not bad - but this is the track I would describe as being a bit sub-par. Overall - a really good player. Just be sure those issues fit with your tolerances.
Cover (Vg+) Well cared for and is still in very nice condition. There's a bit of ageing toward extremities. Not too bad and difficult to avoid entirely on original copies of this title. Worth noting that the die-cut sections on the front are unworn. On the rear  it seems to have avoided the lamination rippling that affects many copies. The interior looks great - no issues. Edge wear is relatively light. The spine is 100% intact. Thanks to the heavy card employed in manufacture it still retains excellent rigidity.
