An original 1st press from Jan '77 on RCA in the UK. Matrix A2/B1. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover with the track listing stuck on via a sticker - on the rear. We also have the original inner sleeve date coded to 11/76 - two months before 1st release. There's the original credit insert too.
Vinyl (Ex) In great condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of very slight marks. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Plenty of copies will look great - yes yes. But not all copies will manage to play the ambient tracks on side 2 clean. Whilst not perfect - this example is delivering one of the cleaner renditions I've witnessed. Precious little sign of background - and anything you do occasionally pick up is more like brief low-level presence. A really very impressive copy which will do a great job of revealing the atmosphere which is so enthralling on side 2. Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex-) In lovely condition with clean and flat surfaces front and back. The only thing I can hold against it is that the spine has faded - and some of the fade has bled onto the extreme right side of the rear. In all other respects this is a cover in excellent condition. Sticker intact and unpeeled on rear. Minimal edge wear and sharp openings. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Insert (Vg) The only let down really. Original, but a bit creased.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits.
