(Wikipedia Excerpts)  “Undercover” is the Rolling Stones 19th American studio album, released in November 1983 by Rolling Stones Records.   “Undercover” was their first release of all-new recordings in the 1980s.

Tensions in the studio were high, as each of the principal songwriters wanted to take the band in a different direction. Vocalist Mick Jagger sought to adapt to modern trends in music, favouring reggae, worldbeat, and new wave musical textures, while guitarist Keith Richards wanted the band to return to their blues rock roots. As a result, the album is an eclectic collection of songs covering a wide range of styles. All tracks are written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, except "Pretty Beat Up," written by Jagger, Richards and Ronnie Wood.

Besides the other principal band members, including guitarist Ronnie Wood, bassist Bill Wyman, and drummer Charlie Watts, the album featured many guest musicians.

“Undercover” peaked at No. 4 on the U.S album charts. Three singles were released from the album, with the highest-charting being top-40 release "Undercover of the Night."

The album's cover artwork featured seven real peel-off stickers on the original vinyl edition (which is for sale here).  If removed, other patterned geometric shapes would be revealed.  All seven stickers are intact on this copy.

The Seller was in the retail record business in the 1970's-1980's and acquired a collection of 2500+ albums from that era, which is now being sold on Ebay. Most are promotional and collectible LPs which have never (or seldom) been played. Many are white label promos, first pressings, and often factory sealed. The collection has been securely boxed and stored in a smoke free environment since 1983, 39 years! Please check back occasionally to see my new listings. I add approx. 25–50 new LPs per week.
Grading methodology is as follows:
M (MINT) - Album is brand new, sealed, and has never been played.
NM (NEAR MINT) - Vinyl looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap. LP cover may have some light rub marks.
VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS) - Vinyl may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned corners, or a slight seam split. May have slight signs of wear also may be marred by a cut out hole, sawcut, or cut corner indicating it is a promotional copy.
VG (VERY GOOD) - Vinyl has light wear, scratches, or scuffs. Covers may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached, etc.
