An original 1st press on custom UK Vertigo label. Matrix A3/B4. The heavy-set [for the period] vinyl comes housed in an original cover with bespoke inner. Early copies should actually not have the hype stickers - the hype stickers come into play after a huge run of successive singles. And the absolute earliest copies can be found WITHOUT Sting's credit on MFN. There's the original price sticker quoting the catalogue number 'VERH25'. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In beautiful condition having seen only lightest use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of very lightest marks per side - nothing remotely  troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are beautifully quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Playing perfectly clean even into those quieter passages. At worst a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots per side. Best copy I've ever witnessed for audio. Plays really clean into the tricky 'River' track too. You can crank this badboy. Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex-) In beautiful condition because we've literally just whipped it outta the original shrink-wrap. Clean surfaces front and back. One original price sticker on right side of front. I'd recommend leaving it there - it isn't overly invasive. Text on spine is 99% intact with some light wear.... The cover retains excellent rigidity. A very fine original example.
Inner (Ex-) No much signs of ageing. No splits. Slightest edge wear. Real nice.
