What a great album. It consists of several songs which were outtakes from the Bitches Brew sessions and another couple from the Jack Johnson sessions, and one from the On the Corner sessions…and you can hear the similarities to those albums in the songs. Also, can’t go wrong with the band consisting of Miles, Ron Carter, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock… The list goes on.
Four sides four tracks. The penultimate side contains the track “Go Ahead John”, a 28 minute opus that has been dissected in classrooms and Internet forums across the world. There’s some great playing on these tracks, but a lot of the magic here happened in the production booth with Teo Macero performing doing amazing things to the tracks.

Records will ship in an inner anti-static plastic sleeve, as well as an outer protective sleeve.
