An original 1st issue of PIE on UK UA from 1971. Matrix A2/B3. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original laminated thick card cover printed by Upton. Better quality than later flimsy print jobs. 
Vinyl (Ex) In great condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of lightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an at least EXCELLENT level of playback with one slight deviation. Super difficult to find this title playing properly clean. Having PIE on the LP is always going to lead to heavy playback. But I'm pleased to report this copy bucks the trend and remains lovely and clean in PIE and into those very lowkey acoustic tracks. Just a few isolated low level crackles briefly midway through VINCENT. Which otherwise plays fab. Empty Chairs is super fussy and plays superb!
Cover (Ex-) Wow, it's definitely worth getting the proper 1st issue with laminated cover. Look at how the colours have been preserved. Lovely clean and flat front with just a couple of slight stress creases on the right side. The rear exhibits a little light wear. Minimal edge wear and sharp firm openings. The spine is 90% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits.
