The David Foster Wallace Project LP 180g Clear Vinyl Sealed! Music Based On DFW. This album is a music homage to the brilliant author DFW. A labor of love, it was a long distance collaboration, the 2 musicians living in St. Paul, MN and Milwaukee, WI. They corresponded by mail, sending DFW plotlines and recording ideas and sending each other burned CDs. They would then get together to record in Minneapolis whenever they could. The project took years. It's instrumental music, no vocals, and based around cello with embellishments of guitar, percussion, piano, and bass with some occasional synth sound landscapes. The album was nominated for Best Concept Album by the Independent Music Awards in 2020, guest judges including Tom Waits and Robert Smith of the Cure!
