An original UK 1st press from '73. Matrix A4/B4. "Sterling RL". The vinyl is really serious weight - one presumes just shy of the oil crisis. Translucent Red/Purple vinyl as per the 1st copies. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover. There's the original inner too - so 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) Superb condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of very light marks - absolutely nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. A couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots per side. Lovely precise and clean well balanced audio. Clean into the quiet piano driven numbers. Highly accomplished.
Cover (Vg+) Well cared for with only slight handling exhibiting. Many will age or tarnish and pick up damp. This copy is looking smart. Sharp openings and only minor edge wear. The spine looks in really good condition - 98% intact. Text fully legible - highly unusual. The cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Very smart. Someone's been careful with this one. Lovely clean and untarnished surfaces. No splits. Slight abrasion at foot.
