Space Manoeuvres/Tilt ACETATE 12 ‘’ Vinyl - Ultra Rare - Sasha/Digweed/Oakenfold.

The Holy Grail of Progressive Trance?

This is an ultra rare acetate pressing of 2 classics, Space Manoeuvres’s Stage One, and Tilt’s 36.

Both of these mixes bear the original names, and not the names they were finally released under:

Stage One - Pariah’s Turkish Mix became Pariah’s Shadow Lounging Mix and was featured on the limited 3rd promo disc of the 1999 release (called Stage Two) on Hooj 79X.

36 - Tilt’s Numerology Mix became Tilt’s Hydravox Mix and was released on the Dark Sciences EP on Hooj 87.

Acetates of the Hooj era pop up every now and then (and mostly as this is, cut at Tape2Tape mastering in London) - I have never seen another of these nor can find any reference to it. I’m not sure I’d go as far as claiming it’s the only one as I can’t substantiate it.

Being cut on acetate, the record alone weighs 240g vs a normal vinyl single around 140g.

It’s in very good condition, there are some light scratches but nothing affecting playback. Sleeve has some light marks, a little wear on the spine, and someone’s written on the front as can be seen in the photos.

Since acetate is more brittle than regular vinyl I’ll reinforce the package with 2 randomly picked progressive tunes from the same era.
