An original 1st press on UK RCA silver spot label from 1963. Matrix 1B/1B - 1st cut. Stampers 1C/1B. Under the Buckingham sequence that infers this copy is most likely within the 1st couple of thousand copies ever pressed. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original mono cover with flipbacks and pinched spine. There's an original Decca inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In super condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks per side - nothing heavy or troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. The main issue with Elvis is that the LPs have usually been played to death - coupled with often quite lowkey audio. You really need a lightly used copy to stand even half a chance of a great rendition. But this example is highly impressive. Minimal background even into the mega fussy tracks. Now, this is really quite unusual over this time period. Overall very impressive - particularly when you consider the vintage.
Cover (Vg+) Notorious for surfacing in terrible condition - but someone's been careful with this one. Nice front with only light signs of ageing and a couple of thumbnails. Flips are in excellent order and relatively unaged rear. Overall - very tidy. Minimal edge wear. The spine is 100% intact. 
Inner (Vg+) No splits.
