An original 1st USA issue of Heroes from '77. Matrix A3/B3. Stamped 'Sterling'. Please note the vinyl comes housed in an original cover with deletion notch in bottom left corner. This occurred in US retail outlets as an Lp exited the charts. There's also the original inner too. So, 100% genuine 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Super lustre. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of lightest marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback just slight deviation in a couple of spots. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. No signs of background or anything to distract. At worst just the odd static crackle during 'Sense of Doubt' and a couple of isolated minor ticks....To be honest it is near impossible to find this track perfectly clean. And this example is doing a better job than most will manage. 'Moss Garden' is super clean and much better than typically found like. Just a couple of minor ticks in the end passage. A really clean feed which is precisely what u need to insist on for this title. Overall superb!
Cover (Ex-) In beautiful nice shape for the vintage. Lovely clean surfaces with minimal wear. Not much wear at all on edges either. Don't forget the notch! Spine is 99% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner [Ex-] Excellent with no splits. Deletion notch present...but at least proves all items are genuine!
