Minnie Julia Riperton Rudolph was an American soul singer and songwriter best known for her 1975 single "Lovin' You", her five-octave vocal range, and her use of the whistle register. Born in 1947, Riperton grew up in Chicago's Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side.

Minnie Riperton has an incredible range. She was so popular in the 70s and still holds space in music.

The cardboard sleeve is worn, not torn. I hope you can overlook that. Please let me know if there is any additional information that I can give to you.

In the 70s I was a Camera assistant, which gave me many promos and a lot of exposure to the artist of the time. I am old now and am in the process of listing albums.

Warning ⚠️ please zoom in on the cardboard sleeve. It is definitely worn. It was very well loved and taken to a lot of places and played many times. I played it today and it’s good all the way through. I’m so sorry for not catching that. This was also a promo back in the days that I had the privilege of going into all these venues. What a job!
