All of our records are based on the Goldmine Grading System.  We will also be grading the media (vinyl) andsleeve (jacket) separately.  The gradesare:

Mint (M) =Unopened, still in original shrink wrap

Near Mint (NM) =Should look like it was purchased that day. The album picture sleeve is withoutfades, cracks or any other flaws.

Very Good Plus (VG+) or Excellent (E) = This is the category that most well taken care of records fit into.  You can expect a few minor signs of wear.Light but visible scratches or marks that isvirtually inaudible.  These albumscan also have signs of minor warping, again, as long as the playback is not effectedin a major way.

Very Good (VG) = The same as VG+ except for more so. Heavier scratches, signs of major handling…simply put; more flaws. However, collectors on a budget may find these appealing as the flawsmay only be perceptible on very high end gear. The sleeves will show definitesigns of corner imperfections, split sleeve, visible ring wear, etc.

Good (G) also containing subgrades of Good Plus (G+) and Very Goodminus (VG-) = These are typically very used records with marring andvisible scratches.  Again, however, thesemay still play ok especially if used with low to mid-grade stereo gear.  Obviously, there will be quite a few defectsbut the playback may still be very good. Again, very desirable for thecollector on a budget.

Fair and Poor (Fand P)= May cause damage to the needle therefore we do not deal with records in theseconditions.  Garage sales are a goodsource for these records and heck, you may get lucky!

We alsoadd $1.00 for the box (which costs us $1.50). So, thank you for your understanding.
