I'm not going to give a grading, as this is subjective and can vary according to expectations. Besides which, it is unrealistic to expect old vinyl records not to have a few issues, but I tend to only list discs that are well above average condition. If you want a 1st pressed 'Loud Cut' that delivers great sound, then this copy might be for you, so please read on.

EVERY track plays LOUD and CLEAR, without any audible intrusions. For a MONO 1st pressing, this is very unusual and almost impossible to find like this. The run ins/outs are near silent and there is ZERO background crackle/noise.

Being the most easily damaged track on the album, as well as a gentle ballad, I have recorded 'Michelle' as an example of just how clearly the album plays. I've used my phone's microphone, so not studio quality reproduction, and there is the odd bit of vibration caused by the booming 'loud cut' bass, which does NOT happen on the actual record itself. The track is crystal clear. This song is notorious for 'blurred' high end vocals, but this is NOT a problem here and you can hear the silence of the run-ins. ALL the tracks sound as good as this one!

The vinyl surfaces do display some dulling and there are lines/scuffs, in keeping with a disc that has not been handled with absolute care. However, these are fairly light and have NO audible impact on any of the tracks. The record has been frequently played and enjoyed, as the spindle trails clearly indicate in the close-up photos above. Please bear in mind that the disc, visually, is nowhere near perfect, but it still delivers a FANTASTIC listening experience without any significant problems and is, of course, a collectible 'Loud Cut' 1st pressing.

I have described how the it looks as honestly as I can, knowing that visually, this could be an issue for some people. It is still a reasonably good looking copy but should be considered more for its sound, and not its appearance.

The cover is in used condition and what you would expect to see from most examples. Made from thick card stock it has no damage, but shows bends and wrinkles on the front and is heavily age toned on the unprotected back panel. The pinched ends spine is undamaged and has perfect lettering. The photos offer the best guide.

The 'patents applied for' lined inner, is made from heavy paper and is near perfect.

The photos are of the actual item. I always use professional, anti-static, cleaning fluid and listen to the whole disc. Professional mailers are always used.
I may have more Beatles records listed right now, so please have a look.
