An original 1st UK press of Burn. Earliest copiesmention Gramophone both sides. This example mentions Gramaphone on one of the labels.... so its early for sure. These copies are pressed heavy and are near-master. Matrix 1/1. Etching..Porkie Trish sue etc..really nice and early. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover. We have the original inner too. So 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of slight marks per side - and one miniscule scuffing patch end of side 2 [does not enter audio at all]. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. A really impressive player and plays clean throughout. I got a few crackles in one brief moment - across the entire disc. Which is a superb strike rate. Super clean high energy delivery. Basically - perfect for this title. A top level rendition which you'd have a hard time equalling. Lovely original player.
Cover (Vg+) A very smart looking cover - many are going to be looking a bit beleaguered after 40 years use. But this one seems to have avoided excessive wear. Clean without much creasing and wear. Some edge wear in the odd spot and firm openings. The spine is 90% intact. A 1.5 inch wear-through bottom edge is tape repaired internally - a minor cosmetic issue. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
