Usually butchered as it was SO SO DAMN popular...but how's about you listen to a perfect rendition from a lightly used copy? Well....it is revelatory,,,,

1st press? ha..no way! THIS REISSUE is likely from 1963...something like 5 years after 1st release. Tax Code 'MT'. Now, don't discount that as 'unworthy'. This record likely dates from the time the BEATLES were crashing the charts..i.e. a damn long time ago...and take a look at those photos! It is nigh on immaculate condition. Matrix 1B/1B. Heavy sixties pressing fully mono-aural...i.e. a near-master true 1 to 1 copy [when the masters were still fresh] The vinyl comes housed in an original embossed cover. Again - remember this is not a super early copy - but it is not far off from the HOLLY peak period. The original generic inner . .. 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Just clean riffage - even in the lowkey moments!  A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an at least EXCELLENT level of playback. Absolute ripper! Intros and inbetweens are really quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Nice detailed sound...plenty of dynamics...good snappy percussion and drumming....The audio is absolutely top dollar...clean feeder  into the quiet moments.  No kidding...you can look all you like...but the early copies are HELLISH to find in decent condition. THIS copy is getting you close to the masters AND CAN GUARANTEE ULTIMATE PERFORMANCE. You wanna really hear that harmonising properly --- you need an early copy in pristine condition. Period. Have you ever heard 'TOO LATE'?.. i can assure you you haven't until you hear it by HOLLY on a pristine audio copy... listen to the cymbal strikes...pristine...a sign of a very very lightly used '63 original. [!]
Cover (Ex/Ex-)  Beautiful clean surfaces this copy still looks great and the surfaces are not warn, and minimal ageing. Minimal edge wear and the openings are still sharp. The spine is 90% intact with all text legible . Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. For the vintage...very very fine.
Inner (Vg+) Bottom edge split has been taped up. Light ageing.
