A genuine 1st issue from 1970...  Matrix A1/B1. These copies would be from the chart period and immediately after those Puppet covers. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original standard IOW cover. Usually pretty worn..this example is splendid. ORIGINAL INNER DATED TO JULY 1970 --- You should recognise this dating....this record was manufactured right at the point Hendrix passed away - when they had to switch away from the Puppet cover, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In super condition and has only seen very light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of lightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an at least EXCELLENT level of playback one slight deviation per side. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Playing clean into those lowkey instrumental sections. Nothing in the background - which is important on this type of audio. Super quality audio - just lush. If you are mad on Hendrix -- you wanna hear 'Machine Gun' on a clean 1st issue...STUNNING! This is probably the high watermark for Hendrix - - on a song like this he's in a league of his own...
Cover (Ex-) A very fine looking specimen.The interior looks superb.Slight edge wear and firm openings. Spine is 80% intact with some light fade. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
