Comments:  RCA Records Pressing plant, Indianapolis Pressing (denoted by ‘R’ next to A&M logo on the labels and ‘I’ stamped in the runout); ultrasonic cleaning; and play tested.

Side 1(A):  NM- (glossy with just a couple of wisps of sleeve scuffs and minor signs of handling; sounds great with no audible defects)

Side 2(B):  NM (glossy with no noticeable defects and just minor signs of handling; sounds great with no audible defects)

Cover:  As Seen in the Photos (no seam splits, slight age toning, a couple of small creases along the spine and top right corner, and slight wear to the corners)

Mint (M)

I will not grade any record or sleeve to be Mint.

Near Mint (NM)

Record:  shiny with no visible defects; free of writing, stickers or other markings on the label; free of factory defects; and plays without surface noise. 

Cover:  no creases, ring wear or seam splits of any kind.

Very Good Plus (VG+)

Record:  may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience; slight warps that do not affect the sound; and minor signs of handling.

Cover:  minor seam wear or a split (less than one inch long) at the bottom; very light ring wear or discoloration that is barely noticeable.

Very Good (VG)

Record:  lack most of the original gloss; groove wear is evident; light scratches deep enough to feel with a fingernail; surface noise and scratches may be audible; and minor writing, tape, or sticker on the label.

Cover:  ring wear and creases, though not overwhelming; seam splitting may be present on all three sides; and may have a stamp, sticker, or writing. 

Very Good Minus (VG-), Good Plus (G+), and Good (G)

Record:  significant surface noise and groove wear; and label is worn, with significant ring wear, heavy writing, or obvious damage.

Cover:  ring wear to the point of distraction; has seam splits obvious on sight; and may have heavier writing.
