This vinyl record features the legendary Donald Byrd performing live at the Half Note Cafe. The album, titled "Jazz at the Waterfront," is a must-have for any jazz enthusiast. The record label, Blue Note Records, is known for its high-quality releases and this one is no exception. The vinyl is without any scratches, warps and is in excellent condition. The cover is like new also. Released in 1961, this is Volume 1 of this hot live performance at the well known Half Note Cafe in Manhattan. In league with all of the trumpeters of his time, alumni of Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers, Donald Byrd was a major influence on his contemporaries (most particularly Herbie Hancock).
