La Voix De Son Maitre COLH 86 - Dowel-spine cover Gravures Illustres French pressing
Cover : EX- (tape traces, see picture)
Record : EX+
About this record : this record is part
of a incredible collection gathered from ~1950 to ~1965, mostly French pressing
but also UK, German & US originals (Ducretet, Discophiles Francais, FALP,
ASDF, SAXF, Erato, L'Oiseau-Lyre, red stereo DGG, Decca...). Previous owner was
very (very) careful with his records.
Most of the original paper inner
sleeves have been replaced by home-made kraft inner sleeves that have kept most
of the records in an exceptionnal condition (only the usual 50's/60's "kraft
paper marks" most of the time which is generally not or hardly audible).
He
also put home made outer sleeves with kraft paper taped to the sleeve, which has
often left yellow marks inside sleeves. As well as "preventive" adhesive tape to
the back of the covers and corners to avoid damages. Also, he sometimes stuck
with tape French reviews of a particular record inside the gatefold or on inner
sleeves. Some back covers have small pen notes too.
