THE BEATLES: ‘Beatles For Sale’ – AN ORIGINAL 1964 UK BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE FIRST ISSUE STEREO VINYL LP – PCS 3062.

First released on the 4th December 1964, and the fourth UK Beatles album release. The vinyl LP is on the traditional black and yellow Parlophone Label, with ‘The Parlophone Co Ltd’ label rim, and ‘Sold in UK…’ label text.

Both record labels are in very nice Excellent Plus condition, bright, clean record labels, showing just a few light signs of play to the centre spindle holes, with no fading to the Silver and Yellow text

Side 1 matrix: YEX 142-1 and Side 2: YEX 143-1.
Side 1 stampers: 4 GD and Side 2: 1GM.

There is an embossed ‘KT’ tax code to the centre of the side 1 record label.

Both sides of the Vinyl disc are in superb Excellent Plus condition, clean and bright unworn vinyl surfaces, showing a couple of light, non sounding, surface hairlines, but no deep scratches or scuffs.

The album plays very well throughout with NO skips or clicks.

The album comes in an ORIGINAL ‘Use Emitex’ lined Inner Bag which is a nice example, no seam splits, just light age toning and light creasing.

And is housed in its original First Issue Laminated Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold sleeve, printed ‘stereo’ to the top right hand corner of the front of the sleeve, and with two internal flipbacks to the gatedfold.

The Laminated gatefold sleeve is a respectable example, and in Very Good condition. The front and back panel are glossy, with only mild corner bruising to all four corners, the gatefold part of the sleeve is undamaged. There is light wear to the edges of the sleeve, and a small tear to the front edge, the reverse panel is fine and shows light record storage..

Overall a respectable example of this original UK first issue stereo Beatles album.
