Check out this classic vinyl LP album by the heavy metal band, Iron Maiden! This is ST-12141, Iron Maiden's debt album from 1981, featuring the band's original singer Paul Di'anno!
This auction includes the original LP and cover, along with the cheap, clear plastic sleeve it originally came with. (It was a debut album, I guess they couldn't afford a fancier sleeve!)
I am not a pro appraiser by any means, but to a layman's eye the LP and cover look like they are in really nice shape, especially given their age. There are tiny dings here and there, but nothing really catches my eye. (The sleeve is kind of crinkled up in places, but I think that's almost inevitable given the cheap material it's made from.) I no longer have an LP player to test it, but it still sounded good the last time I listened to it a few years ago. This is a real heavy metal artifact!
This album has earned near-universal acclaim, turning up on a lot of lists of the greatest heavy metal albums of all time. If you're an Iron Maiden fan, you NEED this record for your collection! Don't let it pass you by!
