Here in Denmark, there is what you could call a state monopoly on shipping letter mail. The shipping costs are high. There is no competition. If one wants to send something there are two choices: Either one pays the price that they demand, or one don’t get to ship ones items.

PLEASE NOTE: I can't ship this worldwide for £4.

What you can expect from me:

-I grade conservatively and honestly. I try to grade the items that I sell, as I would like them to be graded if I were to buy them myself.

-I will try to solve any problems as good as I can. It is important for me to have happy customers, and I hope to expand my number of repeat customers.

What I expect of you:

-Payment must be made within 3 days of auction end. It is nice to complete sales and move on.

-If for some reason you do not think that the items you receive live up to the description, please let me know. I am only human and make mistakes like any other person, and I am certainly willing to correct any mistake I might have made. Please do not attempt to practice feedback extortion, I will open a feedback extortion case on you immediately, if you do.

-It is my hope that you will not only leave positive feedback, but also that you will give a full 5 star rating. This includes the shipping rating, even though the price for this is high. Remember –by bidding you agree to accept the terms described including the shipping terms. If you cannot agree with these and do not intend to leave a full 5 star feedback, DO NOT BID! Remember, I do not define the shipping costs, the Danish postal service does!

PLEASE NOTE that this listing is for two LP’s.

Beethoven – “Choral” Symphony (Symphony No. 9 in D Minor, Op. 125).

Soloists: Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, Soprano – Elisabeth Höngen, Contralto – Hans Hopf, Tenor – Otto Edelman, Bass.

And the Orchestra and Chorus of the 1951 Bayreuth Festival conducted by Wilhelm Furtwängler.

His Master’s Voice ALP 1286 and ALP 1287. This two LP set comes in separate covers, but will be sold together in this auction.

Original first pressing on the original gold and red label. Very rare.

Made in England.

Vinyl: Both ALP 1286 and ALP 1287 are a great looking EX.

Covers: Here comes the sad part. The cover for ALP 1286 is VG with loosening of laminate and some seam and spine wear. There is also a small tear in the lower part of the arched flipback cover -see photo. The cover for ALP 1287 looks much worse, I'm afraid. It has laminate lifting, numerous tears, glue from a sticker or tape on the front, and even has a piece of the front cover completely missing! Maybe this qualifies as Poor.
